Studio Final: Site Plan

Anne, Very nice start to an appropriate site plan for your project. The idea of a board walk in the back offers a good solution to dealing with the steep hillside and the train. You effectively turn the slope into a “viewing only” area (access for maintenance only). The edge to the train might be secured with a low retaining wall (+3’) with a 6’ fence on top?
The link below get’s you to a web page of a boardwalk were the two edges were not created equally, something you might consider too:

I would encourage you to extend the site plan to incorporate the street. Paving patterns and plantings can be proposed on city side walks and it would be interesting to see how the slivers interrupt the side walk. Trees might be planted strategically to force the sliver across the street, or stop it at the (safe) side walk curb.
What is the water wall doing? Can the public interact with it? Shouldn’t it be better a backdrop for the lawn w/ seating to create the quiet place you try to create (?).
